Gülşehir St. Jean Church
A two-level rock church in Gülşehir known for historic wall paintings. The official museum page also discusses nearby Açıksaray; this pin is its St. Jean directions point, not a separate Açıksaray site pin. An apse inscription dates the church to 1212. Its two levels combine worship spaces, wine cellars, water channels and burials. The upper church's paintings feature yellow and brown tones against black backgrounds.
