Çavuşin Church
A rock-cut church in Çavuşin village near the Göreme–Avanos road. Check restoration and visiting status on the official museum page. The official source dates the church dedicated to Emperor Nikephoros Phokas to 964–965. Its design combines one nave, a barrel vault and three apses. Paintings recount biblical stories; the narthex has collapsed.
